Anticlimactic Omega

It was supposed to be in 23 days but whatever. I couldn't have pulled off the disintegration that slowly anyway. This is the final entry of __high__tide__ and the book accompanying a different view has been canceled for now. I didn't accomplish what I wanted to exactly, but it was still something.

And this anthropomorphism ends now, unfortunately. heh...

Desensitization Of Our Youth

Some of the children, as well as adults, in our society have been fed a constant diet of death, destruction and mayhem. They are living in an altered state of reality induced by several sources. Sadistic and horrific video games, satanic and deviant music, blood and gore soaked television and movies.

To get an idea of what I am talking about, I propose that you do yourself and your family a favor. I propose that you go and purchase a copy of any of Marilyn Manson's music. Take a close look and listen to the lyrics. Death, pain, murder , torture and humiliation is all you will hear. My God, how can this be!!!! His biggest selling album is entitled "Antichrist Superstar". Ask yourself what exactly does "Antichrist" mean"? It's not a "good" definition, I'll guarantee that...

Anyway, I would totally understand if you don't want to contribute $17.00 to this person's income. So, I have provided you with the lyrics to 2 of his most glorious songs. Take a peek HERE. *CAUTION - Strong lyrics and profanity*.

Then, go rent the cult favorite, hit movie "Natural Born Killers". Watch the horrific slaughter of innocent people. Many young children revered this movie. It is a nonstop, cross country blood fest in which the stars of the movie kill and torture people. A bloody rampage that is glorified by Hollywood.

Now then, when you have experienced both of those, set back, and try to imagine a teen or pre-teen watching and listening to that sort of thing over and over and over. And don't think for a minute that these are the only 2 "bad" movies or musicians out there. There are countless other movies and music like this. The amount is staggering. The young of our country are being pumped full of an extreme diet of this day after day, night after night. Until they are totally obsessed with it.

To many, many children, it's all a big video game anymore, sung to the tune of some satan worshipping Marilyn Mason crap, and played out on a video screen in a game such as DOOM. What an absolutely wonderful name for a children's game, isn't it? Doom?? That sounds pretty awful to me.

Here is another proposal for you. Obtain a copy of the video game DOOM, or go take a peek at it in your own home. It's probably already on your own home PC. You probably aren't even aware it's there. Maybe stop in at the corner computer shop, and take a look. I'm certain it is for sale there!!!

I can understand if you don't want to see the entire DOOM game. I have provided screen captures from this wonderful game for you to examine. You can see it HERE.

When you take a look at this game (or any of the countless others in this genre), it will be of an image that you soon won't forget. Get ready for a nonstop killing spree of blood, guts gore and horrific devastation and terror!! The player is given a variety of weapons and the object is to run around kill as many people as possible in a short amount of time. The more blood, death and dying, the better the player.

Isn't that a wonderful game for your youngster to be playing? In actuality, it should be titled "How To Train Your Children To Be A Sadistic Killer". That's what it is actually doing...

All of this has a combined effect on our young people. And also on some adults as well. They have become desensitized to human suffering and the preciousness of life itself. Life is meaningless to them. A big fantasy world where death, destruction and suffering rules!!!

A prime example of this is the recent shootings in Jonesboro Arkansas. One of the assailants in Jonesboro was a bit surprised when the people he shot didn't get up and walk away. He actually thought that it was like his video game, and that all the blood would disappear. But sufficeth to say, it did not, and many families are without their loved ones.

There is no "reset" button in the game of life. The victims in real life don't just get up and walk away. Death is final, and we have to prevent this type of manipulation of our children!!!!

Mechanical Animals

If your not afraid to be self indulged it’s something worth admiring.

[WTF did I just say?] We're all brainwashed. If we weren't we wouldn't be anything more then blank vegetables. The downside to this is that, even though being raised by our parents, kids and teens, (it doesn't matter) We're still the same product, sitting on the refrigerated shelf waiting for someone to pick us up. We've become too visceral, and convinced that we can actually feel, because we raised ourselves on making emotions, revolutions, expanded intelligence (a comparison made by us to other animals.)

Another problem given to us by our guardians is the TV. Watching it for hours a day (and if they take it away after a period of time it just makes the victim want it more.) Its purpose is just to give an escape, whether it be the TV or video games, but originally there was nothing that caused you to look for an escape. In other words, you made it your schedule or even worse, became addicted. I know of a household that I visited in the 1st grade that only watched a restricted couple of hours a week, not excited at all to accept this coma. Well, why do you watch it then?
...Entertainment...

I’ve sat down with people and ask them questions related to how they feel. The most common response that I got was I try not to think about it. It doesn’t surprise me. You could find out exactly what you want if you just thought, and after knowing what you want, you can take it. If it doesn’t come easily to you I think you need to reevaluate what you want.

What's the most amusing thing I've seen is the Gothic Subcategory, Punk. Against the system, working to bring it all down to nothing, chaos. Of course they walk around in store bought clothes (Hint, not all the money goes to freelance clothing designers, shop owners, employees and the occasional sacrifice of the Government‘s currency, but that‘s only on a good business day.) Being outside the system doesn't help at all. The army of knights who chose not to conform by purchasing armor and weaponry sold by their enemy could do nothing to the high walled fortress kingdom the government has made. Better to be the assistant cook who poisons the king, no?

A statement to make! When a person has a statement to make, whether it be Alice Cooper (Half of his audience were on drugs while they watched him perform, my father and his friends making a small part up of the large audience) or the more current Marilyn Manson (Face it, fans killing themselves over a song have the capacity in their minds to barely think over the lines of “he’s so fucking cool. Scary shit, man”) A random person on the street that passes you in 5 seconds can’t convey their ultimate message on America if we can’t even be inspired to think by people who exploit themselves daily.

What’s so different? You scare a couple of uptight assholes once in awhile, but people have been scared of other people for as long as the caveman greeted others with shrieks and fists. You changed clothes to something darker. You didn’t want to be the goody goody and all smiles. I guess some people are more happy to be goody scary and the gothic delight. Controversy has always been a ticket to fame/infamy but you still got your 15 seconds, at least. Attention grabbing. If you wanted to reflect on who you are, or how your feeling, that’s great. Just know when we say “how are you doing?” not everyone want s to hear what you have to say. Excuse them for being too civil and spoiling you. If dressing against normalcy is just your thing its nothing worth discrediting. Just don’t bitch when elderly folks ask you why your hair is teal or neon pink. [WTF did I just say?]


But remember revolutions can still result in being the same product of something that inspired you to make change.

Looks Matter. Good Looks do Not.

I was dropped off at the library, to look at some of my own literature and the Summer Reading book, THe Man Who ATe THe 747, and was instantly greeted by the rolling of the eyes and air of disdain of a woman near the front desk. I already felt a power trip coming on to further push her fallacies, but it looked like being located in a service dedicated to intelligence seeking was stimulating enough for her. I carried off and disappeared to the back.
Rather than do what I was supposed to do--which was to see if the Summer Reading book was available--I was solely browsing through the stale smelling aisles. I went and found the Celestine Prophecy, nothing more notable. I was all too familiar with it's likeminded philosophy. My father and sister both followed the afterlife, karma, resurrection, holding so tightly to their memories, forgetting that they grasp it so because eventually they will lose it.
I leaned back on my chair, with a refresh of appearances. I settled my looks down to plain and black. Wearing black hardly ever progresses positively socially, and keeps back most of the crowd. People feel scorn for you because of the stereotypes that I believe need no explanation. Wearing plain clothes tell that I'm plain, I don't offer anything new. Avoiding attention. In other words I was Combing extremes, which is something I've always done, and now was able to do effectively. It matters what you look like, because through your clothes you tell people about you. Not only that, but you can use it to your advantage. Whatever is in your power. People who fail to see why looks don't matter are either lying or haven't been able to pull away from their roots of Mother TV and Father Ignorance.
I walked out to call home, and, fortunately, the girl was still there. I faced her and put on a devilish smirk on my face as I walked out.
